Iran Arrests 30 Individuals Suspected Of Being Spies

 Tensions in the region remain at a fever pitch as Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that it has arrested 30 individuals accused of being “spies for the Zionist regime” in a series of sweeping intelligence operations across the country.

The arrests mark a significant escalation in what Tehran describes as an ongoing shadow war with Israel. Authorities allege that this network was deeply embedded within the country’s infrastructure, tasked with collecting sensitive intelligence to facilitate potential future strikes.




According to officials, 24 of those arrested are suspected of having "sent to the enemy the coordinates of military installations, police and defense forces, as well as positions of security guards and military equipment in Hamadan province."

The province of Hamadan is home to several high-value strategic sites, making this breach a major point of concern for Iranian defense planners.

In a statement detailing the raids, security forces revealed they had seized a significant cache of contraband. Alongside firearms and various other weapons, investigators recovered eleven "Starlink" units—the satellite-based internet access terminals owned by Elon Musk. Iranian authorities are suggesting these units were instrumental in allowing the alleged spy ring to bypass state-controlled internet firewalls to transmit data securely and undetected to their handlers.

Tehran has yet to announce specific charges or potential sentencing for the 30 individuals, but state media is already framing the arrests as a decisive blow against foreign intelligence efforts.
