Kebbi State Police Command Arrests Man For Murder Of His Spouse

 The Kebbi State Police Command has taken into custody Suleman Mamuda for the suspected murder of his spouse, Umaima Maidawa, in Bayawa Village, located in the Augie Local Government Area. The 30-year-old suspect fled the area after the incident occurred on Monday morning but was later captured through community intelligence and police tracking efforts.


Commissioner of Police Umar Mohammed Hadejia has instructed that the case be sent to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a thorough investigation and prosecution. In light of this situation, officials have encouraged the public to report any criminal activities swiftly and to assist law enforcement in their efforts to ensure peace across the state.
